    The TeaPot (Doll) Challenge

Although, I readily admit that I am still a (very crude) beginner, and that I might never achieve this level of doll making skills, I am nonetheless sorry that I missed out on this challenge. If you enjoy dolls and/or doll making, you can't help but imagine how much fun the this challenge must have been. And if you have ever made a doll, you know full well the amount of time and effort, and forethought that it takes to ultimately produce the creative works that these artists have submitted. Yes, I am very much in awe, and also very inspired!

The challenge was titled "The TeaPot Challenge" and was hosted by Sherry Goshon and Lisa Risler. And of course, this challenge was based on a Sherry Goshon doll. The link listed is to Sherry's blog spot. And just to get you started, I've listed the following links where you can see some of her other creations: DOLLMAKER'S JOURNEY; The Cloth Doll Connection; Cloth Doll Patterns; and there is a wonderful example of purse art on Joggles. If you would like to see even more of her wonderful designs and patterns, I suggest you 'Google' it. In addition to the wonderful pictorial provided, Lisa Risler's site, Interior Matters offers a wealth of information, including online classes, embellishments, ATCs, gifts, books, links, fun stuff, and free stuff.

I have posted the top 3 winners' names and pictures of their dolls just to temp you into exploring further. But make no mistake, all of these dolls are absolutely wonderful works of art. Please take the time to pop in and look them over. So....here are the winners:

(Sorry but the photos have been removed from the source)
First Place Winner #4 by Annilee Taylor
Second Place Winner #16 by Jeanne Hughes
Third Place Winner #5 by Barbara Kanter
