Gifts From Friends

These lovely items came in the mail yesterday from Charlene. She is such a sweet-heart and a very good friend. Always a kind and comforting word. She's currently off on a different creative adventure with cross-stitching, as well as her tatting. You can find her newest interests at Needle in Hand. Thank you so much Charlene. I love it all!!!!

This is the most adorable bandbox type case. The outer covering is much like a tapestry pattern. The hardware is a beautifully decorative and sturdy bronze. The inside is full of what looks like sheet music lining. It's just lovely.

Here we have another box. This one has a little elastic closure on it. It opens like an old fashioned wardrobe. And inside are the most darling note cards in the shape of a ladies' evening gown on a hanger. Too cute!

Oh yes, there is more!!!! A mouse pad calendar, delicate purple trim, beads and embellishment pieces, fancy buttons, and a nice assortment of purple fabrics.

The bandbox and fabrics were in Christmas themed packaging. But she's covered all her bases because she included a very special Valentine's Day card, too.

This wonderful assortment of goodies came from Ira, in Israel. From our conversations, I take it that these things are either not readily available and/or are very expensive. For her to send so much is a truly touching gift. Thank you, Ira.

And last but not least is this great little angel pin doll from Sharon. Don't you just love it? I do! I never quit playing with dolls so this little beauty fits in just fine. She has been placed on my sewing table so that I can see her when I work. She's the perfect partner to have around. She's a great listener and she never talks back! LOL. Thank you, Sharon.

These are just a few of the wonderful items that have been sent to me over the last few months. Some of them as hostess gifts, some ROAK's, and some just because. I wish I had the photo space to add them all. But please, know that I treasure all of them!

Until Next time...Happy Needling!!!

You're most welcome! I don't know any CQer who can't use more stash holders! Hope something fits in 'just right' when you need it.
