They are so cute! How could anyone who saw them resist? If we were there, I'd probably give in, though DH doesn't want a dog to join us. =)
Schnauzers are pretty smart, too, from all I've ever seen.
We got Bella through MSRH in July. And yes, they are smart. Easy to train. Great with kids. They travel well - well not Fritz but he's one of a kind. LOL. The biggest 'selling point' for me (25 years ago) was that they DO NOT SHED! They are considered to have hair - not fur.
If I were there, well... at least three (all hubs would let me have) would be mine. I just love these dogs, and hoping to adopt another one soon one day. Keep us posted on how they are doing and if they find wonderful new homes.
These puppies are so nice and beautifull... but I will not be able to adopt one, it's too complicate on board. Many countries, like US, take the pets away from the boat and from us, for the quarantine, someplaces (Hawaii) for up to 6 months!... too hard for the poor dog/cat, and for us!!
The rescue organizations only allow local adoptions. They like to follow up to make sure that the animals are being taken care of properly. But thank you so much for even considering it.
